I cannot split my combined wifi band into 2.4 and 5 ghz bands

You are indeed on the new WiFi configuration, which no longer allows you to split your main WiFi into two SSIDs.

However, if you go to your MyProximus space, you will be able to activate Limited SSID, which is specially designed for this type of situation.

I therefore invite you to activate it and connect your devices to this Limited SSID.

Unfortunately, no.

This configuration is mandatory for security purposes at the WiFi protocol level.

Since some devices do not yet have access to this stricter protocol, we have had to allow the use of Limited SSID, which allows devices that require a 2.4 GHz network with a less strict protocol to connect.
