A technician was supposed to come yesterday to set up our internet and they never showed up. Both my husband and I made sure to be home and available for a call. After we received no call and no visit, we tried calling customer service that night and were put on hold for a long time until eventually the call was disconnected (?).
I got through to customer service today and was told we wouldn’t be able to get an appointment until later in the month. This is distressing, as my husband works from home and we were depending on the internet setup being done this week. My questions are:
- is there a priority reservation available for cases where the technician already missed one appointment, or do we just get put back in the queue to maybe or maybe not eventually have the technician come?
- what should I do if they are a no-show again?
- Can we get our package bill pro-rated to account for the delay?
