I no longer receive texts from 8128 after changing my contract


I recently took over my number from my previous company  from their contract to my personal contract with proximus. 
I have recently stopped receiving “One Time Password” texts from my bank in the UK which uses the number “8128” so can’t process payments...


I still receive texts from friends and from other short codes like DHL, DPD, etc.


Multiple chats with support but keep getting disconnected :(

Is 8128 blocked or not routed correctly when coming from the UK?

Hello ​@dwhite, the number 8128 is not blocked, you need to contact your bank and ask them to remove your number. Once removed, you can re-link it.

What do you mean remove my number? Do you mean check they have the correct number?

@dwhite I want to tell you that you need to ask your bank to unlink your number so they can relink it the next day. Why? Because your bank uses a technique to send you the SMS that contains your mobile operator, but it's no longer the same operator.

Thank you. I will inform them to remove my number for one day as this may be the missing piece of information.
