i have a XL unlimited account and i find myself many times during the month wondering where my data is spend and how is being spent. and since end of last year being unable to keep it within the package max limit of 30Gb.
without that information is a lot harder for me to take measure on reducing data usage that i dont need. for instance, many applications now do automatic updates (this one is easy to deactivate, and i did) and also do data caching (for instance facebook) overhall i think i'm spending 2/3 of my data plan on software and app updates plus on data caching. But wihtout certain there’s little more i can actually do!!
so, why not show that daily info the mobile proximus app ?
EDIT:
just looked into the extra data prices including the proximus public WIFI (wasnt that cost free?) . and here's another tip. Why not enable low speed internet connectivity for software and app updates during the night ?
