Proximus doesn't support Funker phones? Maybe the bonus sms are limited to Belgian network? Something else?

ok, I uploaded money to this prepaid card. I thought now we can send sms in EU outside of Belgium.

It is still not working.

I added the phone number to my profile.

I just checked your number's profile. There is no SMS abroad blocking on your prepaid card. Can you give us the date and time of your last test to check traffic?

We just sent a message to +3630631xxxx, it was not successful at 19:37 24/02/2025.

She was able to call this number on 20/02, there's no problem with the calling.

Is it possible to test sending an SMS to another number abroad? 

Yes, of course. We tried several. Do you have a test number?

We do receive error from the SMS to abroad. As they were all trying to be delivered in Hungaria we tried with an internal test to see if there was no problem with the route to this country. We were able to send an sms to one of the number you tried so the problem is not there.

Could you try the SIM card in an other phone and try to send an sms from there ? 

I placed the sim to a Motorola smart phone. Seems we can send the sms to abroad and they're received well.

So the problem is not with Proximus but with the phone. Please recheck your phone settings. 

Yes, I checked the settings several times.

I found only a gateway for sms.

Sms sending is working to Belgian numbers, but not going to aboard as you found also in the logs.

I don't see anything else I can setup.

This phone maybe not compatible with Proximus? Should I send this feedback to the company, amazon?

In my opinion, it's not a question of incompatibility. I think it would be a good idea to check with amazon.

I don't think amazon knows the answer, they will forward me to the mobile network provider.

I wonder you see in the log the sms sending to abroad. Why you think it's a phone problem. 

I understand changing the phone solved the issue.

I can imagine if you see the started transaction for sending a message abroad in the logs this is not an issue on the phone.

I will not give smartphone to my kids just for this problem, they are small for that in my eyes. I prefer a dummy phone for this age.

That's dommage if they can not send sms this way.
